Position Objective
Ultimately, responsible to perform all aspects of Tube Bender operation, maintenance, programming, set up, and process improvements. Is responsible for tube fabrication using CNC tube bending machinery, saws, and end forming equipment. This position requires the ability to make fast and accurate decisions relating to the production process and equipment. A good understanding of the details of the product to be manufactured that would include size, tolerance and use, is required for this position.
These positions require safe work practices that are clearly defined within company and department specific safety procedures.
This position offers several shift options, including:
1st shift 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
2nd shift 12:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, shift premium applies.
2nd shift 3:45 p.m. – 2:15 a.m. Monday – Thursday, shift premium applies.
Weekend shift: 3/12-hour (36 hours/week) shift; compensated at 40 hours with shift premium.
Weekend day shift: 5:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Weekend night shift: 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

- Perform advanced calibration required on laser tube cutting equipment (y-axis offsets, jaw centering, etc.)
- Advanced trouble shooting and repair ability on both lasers utilizing experience or tech support.
- Program part completely from CAD.
- Run jobs to schedule with no assistance to achieve maximum throughput while finishing jobs on time and meeting all requirements.
- Proven competent GD&T knowledge of how it affects your parts and ability to plan and make adjustments to achieve good parts.
- Ability to make all necessary program changes and program parts from scratch or imported customer CAD for both lasers.
- Proven track record of success and demonstrate highest standards in integrity, attention to detail, organization skills, attendance, reliability and positive attitude.
