Position Purpose
- Developing individuals that are looking for a long term career in a skilled trade
Job Responsibilities
- Display an eagerness and willingness to learn a new trade
- Assist senior technicians in all aspects of producing parts
- Follow all directions with absolute adherence to quality processes and procedures
- Training may include sanding parts, deburring parts, washing parts, loading tools, running hydraulic presses, operating laser cutting equipment and otherwise assisting with every aspect of making a finished part
Knowledge or Skills Required
- Strong math skills required
- Eagerness to learn a new trade and the ability to keep an excellent attitude
- Ability to work closely with other people in high pressure environments
- Will give special consideration to applicants with any background in manufacturing or the ability to read blueprints
- A background with any type of hands-on hobby (working with cars, building custom go-karts, rebuilding tractors, etc) will be considered as well
