This position produces machined parts by operating, setting up and programming HAAS CNC mills & lathes, Flow Waterjet and Mitsubishi Wire EDM using Mastercam, FlowPath, FlowCut & FlowXpert to machine tools and parts for the prototype industry. Advancing through this position will require strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, technical expertise and computer skills.
Prototype Tech
This position requires a progression in skillset for the development of parts from start to finish using deep draw stamping fundamentals, while setting up dies in presses, operating the presses and doing in process inspections.
3 D Laser Tech This is a highly skilled technical position, requiring the ability to make fast and accurate decisions relating to the production process and advanced multi-axis laser cutting equipment. A good understanding of materials, tolerances and 6-axis laser cutting techniques is required for this position.
Welder Tech
This position requires a progressive use of MIG/TIG welding equipment in accordance with job and customer demand welding both stainless steel and carbon steel.
Powder Coat
This position requires a progressive use of various painting techniques that will include but are not limited to powder coat, wet paint spraying Cerakote, hydro dip, and several other techniques on various materials. Material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, dipping, masking, among other techniques are required.
